Delta South Dynamic Ladies, DSDL, on Saturday July 3, took their sensitization campaign for the promotion of more women participation and representation in government to Koko, headquarters of Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State.

Fresh Angle International understands that the sensitization visit, was greeted with excitement by scores of women as they promised to join DSDL in their resolve to enlighten more grassroots women on the need to get involved in politicking and governance, so as to contribute positively in the quest to achieve people - centred and effective governance at all levels.

They expressed willingness to join DSDL, “if only there is a female candidate for elective position and if there is any male candidate that will have the interest of women at heart”.

While responding, one of the ladies, Mrs. Ruth Okoge, commended members of DSDL, for the sensitization and enjoined them to extend the programme across the three Senatorial Districts in Delta State.
