Three robbery suspects, Samuel Agoko, Samuel Peter and Lawrence Adjoma have reportedly shot one Achaja Stanley, a student of Niger Delta Oil and Gas Technical Skills Acquisition Centre, Usiefurun in Ughelli South local government area, Delta State, Fresh Angle can report.
According to a police report, the three suspects attacked Achaja Stanley at about 0800 hours on Sunday July 27 at his apartment, shot him on his chest and allegedly went away with twenty thousand naira.
The victim who is responding to treatment as at the time of this report informed the police at Otu-Jeremi, Ughelli South of how the incident occurred. The Police immediately swung into action and arrested the three suspects.
The culprits have confessed to the crime and they are helping the police in investigation, even as efforts are in top gear to recover their weapons.
In another development, men of the Nigeria Police, “A” Division, Asaba have arrested 11 suspected cultists who were allegedly carrying out initiation ceremony of new members at Umudike quarters off Ibusa road at Asaba, the Delta State Capital.
A 12-year old female, Chioma Okuchi and one Francis Vincent, said to be 27 years of age are among the 11 suspected cultists in police net.
Items recovered from the cultists who will be arraigned in court at the end of investigation include one cut to size locally made pistol, one live cartridge and one battle axe.
