Kogi gets new Commissioner of Police

A new Commissioner of Police has assumed office in Kogi State.
 
He is CP Idrisu Dauda
 
Addressing journalists at the Command Headquarters in Lokoja today, Monday August 30, the new Commissioner of Police, promised to build on the legacies of his predecessor, Ayuba Ede, who is now in charge of AIG zone eight.
 
CP Dauda called on all stakeholders to assist the command toward fighting crimes and criminality in the state.
 
When asked on the recent attack of some Police officers around Kabba axis, the CP said " We will continue to sensitize our men to be vigilant to avoid reoccurrence of this ugly incident".
 
Our Kogi State Correspondent, reports that CP Dauda was formerly in charge of the Criminal Investigative Department of the Kogi State command before he went for a professional course.
