An eminent leader in Bateren Community of Warri South - West Local Government Area in Delta State and Public Relations Officer, Itsekiri Regional Development Committee, IRDC, Prince Moses Orubu Fregene, says the 0.56 meter concrete road project being executed by IRDC in Bateren, will be delivered next month, November.
Prince Fregene, who told Fresh Angle International in an exclusive telephone chat this morning, Saturday October 16, that the project was already in 95% completion stage, disclosed that the 2nd phase of the project, which is also a 0.56 meter stretch, would be awarded next month by the Itsekiri Regional Development Committee, IRDC.
The community leader and Chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party in Warri South - West Local Government Area, had told This Newspaper November 2020 that the road project being handled by an indigenous company, MOOFREG INTERNATIONAL SERVICES Limited, was in 70% completion stage.
The Chevron established IRDC had constructed a Cottage Hospital at Bateren and the dogged efforts of Prince Fregene, led to the execution of Doctors/ Nurses Quarters by Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC. A project intended to complement the completed Cottage Hospital and make the environment friendly for Doctors and Nurses that would work there.
Fresh Angle International, also understands that a 100KV Generator has been installed in Bateren by DESOPADEC as a result of Prince Fregene's initiative, with the support of the member representing Warri South - West Constituency in Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Dennis Guwor.
