Rize FM Warri Inferno: Ereyitomi rallies support to enable station come back on air

The Member Representing Warri Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Chief Thomas Ereyitomi, has described the fire that gutted Rize FM 106.7, Warri last week, as unfortunate, calling on well-meaning Nigerians and institutions, to rally round the media house, to enable it resume broadcast within the shortest possible time.

 

Our Senior Correspondent reports that the Federal lawmaker, made the call this afternoon, Monday October 18, when he paid an unscheduled visit to the privately owned Radio station to ascertain the extent of damage and jaw-jaw with management of the Warri based FM.

While assuring that he will seek better ways of moving the electronic media forward in terms of state-of-the-art digital transmitting equipment, Chief Ereyitomi, who is the Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC in the House of Representatives, encouraged the media proprietor, Pastor Tony Mene-Akpata and Board members of the station, to remain resolute in their resolve to offer quality and positive broadcast contents.

 

Head of Station, Rize FM, Warri, Mr. Laju Awala, commended Chief Ereyitomi,for the show of solidarity on behalf of the management and staff, promising that the station will be back stronger and better in no distance time.
