Delta State Government, has promised to assist the management of Rize FM 106.7, Warri, to ensure the station come back on air as quickly as possible.
Recall that Rize FM, which is the first privately owned radio station in Warri, Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State, was engulfed by fire in the early hours of Thursday October 14.
Fresh Angle International can report that Delta State Commissioner, Bureau for Special Duties, Hon. Johnbull Edema, gave assurance of the state government’s support to management of the Warri based media company, Friday October 22, when he paid solidarity visit to the management and staff of Rize FM, Warri.

Whilst disclosing that the state government was putting measures in place to, “further equip the State Fire Service, to be able to meet up with emergency fire outbreaks”, Hon. Edema, advised the management of Rize FM, Warri, to put measures in place to advert recurrence of inferno and other emergencies.
“It is a very huge loss to the state, the State Governor, His Excellency, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa, is a man, who reaches to Deltans and non-Deltans as far you reside in the state”, Edema stated.
The Commissioner and his delegation, were conducted round the FM building by members of the station’s staff present.
