You are coming out better persons - Love Works Foundation, wishes inmates of Nigeria Correctional Service, Warri

Love Works Foundation, LWF, a Non-Governmental Organization, founded for the purpose of providing care for widows, orphans and friends in need, has expressed optimism that inmates of Nigeria Correctional Service, Warri, a Medium Security Custodial Centre, will come out better persons with clean heart and the right spirit.

Founder and Coordinator of Love Works Foundation, Dr. (Mrs.) Minnie Ajuwede Igbrude, made the positive declaration at the Nigeria Correctional Service, Warri, Thursday October 28, during the monthly birthday celebration of inmates at the Correctional Centre.

Dr. Igbrude, who reminded the inmates that they were at the Centre for Correctional purposes, stated: “You (inmates) exists like any other human beings. You will be there for us tomorrow, like we are here for you today. If you know God, you won’t leave here (the Correctional Centre) in crisis. Pray daily, think positively all the time, especially because you have a wonderful Comptroller, who is looking for ways to better your lives”.

Earlier in his remarks, Officer in-Charge of the Medium Security Custodial Centre, Warri, Deputy Controller of Corrections, DCC Etim Effiong O, assured: “The inmates are leaving here to contribute positively to the society. We have the best behaved inmates here, compared to any other Correctional Centre in Nigeria. We are thanking God for life, good health, wisdom and the lives of those identifying with us”.

Fresh Angle International can report that the event featured cutting of anniversary cake, soul-gripping worship songs and praises by members of Love Works Foundation, authorities of the Medium Security Custodial Centre and the inmates, as well as Biblical exhortation by a Christian Cleric.
