A House of Representatives aspirant on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party in the 2015 general polls, Barr. Alero Ogbemi Barlow says she “does not know how to steal” but has the connections to assist Deltans and take Warri Federal Constituency to the next level.
Barr. Alero Barlow who is eyeing the Warri Federal Constituency seat in 2015 made the declaration at Warri North PDP Secretariat in Koko while declaring her political intention in the presence of party leaders and her supporters.
The House of Representatives hopeful while describing herself as a grassroots and community person who is proud to be an Itsekiri, stated “Abuja is not a place for people without vision” but one with the right contacts.
An Environmentalist and Chieftain of the PDP, Prince David Aboyowa Omaghomi in a remark at the ceremony, declared that PDP is the only party “that will deliver Itsekiri “and called on the people not to cast their vote in the forthcoming elections based on sentiment.

According to him, the voice of Itsekiri ethnic nationality come 2015 lies in the Senate, House of Representatives and the Delta State House of Assembly.
Responding, the Warri North Local Government Area PDP Chairman, Mr. John Okoroloko described Alero Barlow as a qualified person for the House of Representatives seat, adding that “she is in the right track”.
He posited that politicians seeking re-election should first tell the people what they have done with their earlier mandate before canvassing for re-election.
Our Senior Correspondent reports that others who spoke at the ceremony include all PDP Ward Executives in Warri North as well as Women and Youth Leaders in the Local Government.
