As the tempo of political activities in Delta State heightens, Itsekiri graduates across the state under the auspices of Coalition of Itsekiri Graduates for Tony Obuh has emerged with a resolve to strengthen the support base of the former Permanent Secretary, Government House, Asaba, Mr. Tony Chuks Obuh whose entry into the Delta gubernatorial race has taken the state by storm.
Coordinator of Coalition of Itsekiri Graduates For Tony Obuh, Mr. Justin Ulisanmi Edema in a press statement issued in Warri, Delta State, stated that the group which has over 1,000 members have decided to pull their resources together in collaboration with the Chief Ayirimi Emami led Delta United For Tony Obuh “because of the quality of Tony Obuh”.
According to Mr. Edema, aside Mr. Obuh’s experience in government as a Civil Servant, he has “a good heart which is better than all the good heads in the world”.
While vowing that members of his group will mobilize the entire people of Warri Federal Constituency and Delta South Senatorial district to ensure that Mr. Tony Obuh emerges the next governor of Delta State, the Itsekiri graduates’ leader enjoined Deltans to put all forms of sentiments aside to back the aspiration of “the proven technocrat because Delta State needs one who is vast in administration and has the necessary exposure to pilot affairs of the state at the end of Uduaghan’s tenure “.
