An Ozoro based man in Isoko South Local Government Area, Delta State one Samuel Uwhemw has told the Police at Ozoro that a concoction given to his son by one Pastor Johnson Ojigbo is responsible for the death of his son, Evi Samson.
According to a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, Delta State Command, DSP Celestina Kalu, Samuel Uwhemw who resides at Erovie Quarters, Ozoro claimed he took his son, Evi Samson to Pastor Johnson Ojigbo of God Solution Ministry, Ozoro on the 28th of September supposedly for healing/prayer and the said Cleric who is also a Registrar in a Magistrate Court in Delta State “gave his son a black concoction to drink”, following which his son developed swollen head as well as eyes in the night of the same day and later died on the 9th of September.
In a swift reaction however, the Court Registrar cum Cleric who is now in the Police net denied having a hand in the death of Evi Samson. According to him, what he administered to the deceased “was a bottle of coke”.
Fresh Angle however gathered from the Police that its men who swooped on the Pastor’s house following a report by Mr. Samuel Uwhemw discovered charms from Pastor Ojigbo’s “shrine behind the church”, just as the corpse of Evi Samuel has been deposited in an undisclosed hospital for autopsy.
Meanwhile discreet investigation to unravel more facts in the matter has commenced by the State Command of the Nigerian Police.
