A 39-year old carpenter by the name Gbanga Anaorin has been arrested for allegedly defiling a two year old baby girl at Okpanam town near Asaba.
The arrest is sequel to a report by the baby’s father that his two year old daughter was passing urine when she started crying of pain in her private part.
According to the baby’s father, when he asked his daughter what was wrong with, the little girl told him that the said Gbanga Anaorin had unlawful carnal knowledge of her.
The victim has been taken to hospital for treatment, while Mr. Anaorin will be made to face the full weight of the law at the completion of investigation.
