As the battle for the seat of Warri Federal Constituency gathers momentum, former NDDC Commissioner and Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Barr. Ada Val Arenyeka has received backing of the revered Warri Monarch, Ogiame Atuwatse II to run for the Warri Federal Constituency Seat in the 2015 polls.
The Olu of Warri formally gave his nod to Barr. Arenyeka at his palace in Warri Monday October 13 when the ex-NDDC Commissioner led a large crowd of his supporters on a consultative visit to the Warri Monarch.

The Warri King advised Barr. Arenyeka to always put his people first when he gets to the House of Representatives. He prayed for Barr. Arenyeka to succeed in the forthcoming polls and quipped that it is the turn of Warri South Local Government to produce the next Warri Federal Representative at the National Assembly.
Speaking earlier, Barr. Ada Val Arenyeka highlighted some of the projects he brought and executed in Itsekiri communities while he was member in the Board of Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC. According to him, the projects include the award of the 192 kilometres Koko-Ogheye Road Project, which was initiated by late Chief Festus-Okotie-Eboh in 1958, construction of Orugbo-Ajigba-Ilorin-Usele-Ugboedede road, construction of Ubeji township road, construction of one kilometer road linking Ugbuwangue and Ogunu communities, distribution of electricity transformers to Ajamimogha road, Ubeji community and New World City, Ugbuwangue as well as the donation of canoes to fish farmers and the presentation of loans to Cooperative Societies.
Also speaking, the Special Project Director, Trans-Warri Ode-Itsekiri bridges and access roads, Chief Otimeyin Adams noted that what the Olu of Warri has said regarding Barr. Arenyeka’s aspiration stands.

In a remark at the event, Secretary to Warri South Local Government Transition Committee, Mr. Eugene Ebisin congratulated Barr. Arenyeka for his anticipated success during the 2015 elections.
On his part, Chief Emmanuel Jones described the endorsement of Barr. Arenyeka as the best thing to happen to Warri Federal Constituency.
A sibling of Barr. Arenyeka and ex-Chairman of Warri North Local Government, Mr. Solomon Arenyeka thanked the Warri Monarch for his royal pronouncement regarding Barr. Arenyeka’s 2015 aspiration.
