A total of six thousand six hundred and thirty students have been granted provisional admission to study various programme in the new academic session at the Federal Polytechnic,Auchi, Edo State, Fresh Angle can authoritatively report.
This much was disclosed recently at the Institution’s campus by the Rector, Dr. Philipa Omamhe Idogho during the matriculation ceremony which held at the school sport complex.
Our Auchi Correspondent, reports that over twenty eight thousand candidates chose the Institution as their preferred choice, while eight thousand candidates were screened after passing the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME.
Addressing the matriculants, the Institution’s Rector, Dr. Philipa Idogho charged them to shun vices such as cultism, examination malpractice, indecent dressing and harassment of lecturers. She admonished the matriculants to avoid shortcut to academic success, warning that anyone who violates the school code of conduct will face automatic rustification.
Our Auchi Correspondent reports that various organizations came in numbers to woo potential members in their associations.
