The blast reportedly killed at least 25 people and injured many others. Over 12 vehicles belonging to Gombe line were also destroyed.
Abdullahi Kudu Nma, State Commissioner of Police, has told reporters that the command has arrested three people in connection with the blast that went off at 9:30 am, about 15 minutes after a military patrol team left the area.
Gombe state has been relatively peaceful and safe from the incessant Boko Haram attacks.
