Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, has opened up, saying his administration took loan to complete the state owned Prof. Chike Edozien secretariat commissioned Monday November 29, by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, assuring that the state government will finish paying the loan by the end of 2022.
Fresh Angle International understands that Dr. Okowa made the statement Tuesday November 30, during the quarterly media briefing held at the Unity Hall of Government House, Asaba.
Whilst noting that the state government expended N17b on the secretariat, Governor Okowa, explained: “The Secretariat, has facilities like internet for workers to carry out their official duties effectively”, saying “the new secretariat has reduced the government stress of paying rent”.
