Nedlink Global, sensitizes secondary school girls in Ndokwa West on personal hygiene

A Non-Governmental Organization, NGO based in the United States of America, Nedlink Global Incorporated, on Monday December 6, embarked on sensitization of girls in three public schools at Emu Kingdom of Ndokwa West Local Government Area in Delta State.

 

The secondary schools are; Emu Secondary School, Emu Uno, Ebendo Grammar School, Emu Ebendo and Obodeti Secondary Commercial School, Emu Obodeti.

Our Kwale Correspondent, reports that the girls studying in senior secondary schools, were educated on the need to stay clean and healthy at all times, especially during mensuration.  

 

Nedlink Global Incorporation, represented by Mr. Iwegbue Azuka, Imasuen Christabel, Ojumah Ben and Onya Anwuli, also enlightened the girls on how to take care of their bodies and encouraged them to be serious with their studies.

The NGO, which comprises of young females from different sphere of life that came together for the purpose of the girl-child total development, gave the female students opportunity to ask questions on issues bothering them and provided the right answers accordingly, just as they admonished the students to give their lives to God.

 

Fresh Angle International, can report that sanitary pads, were distributed to the students and their female teachers, while extra packs were dropped for emergency cases, during school hours.
