Warri South Local Government Council in Delta State, has announced the dissolution of its 2021 revenue sub-committees, with a directive to the relevant security agencies to arrest any group of persons or individual, who parades him/herself as revenue agent/ agents of the Council.
A statement signed by the Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael E. Tidi and made available to newsmen, Thursday December 9, noted that the dissolution takes effect from Thursday, 9th, December, 2021.
Whilst directing the Chairmen and Secretaries of the disbanded revenue sub- committees to immediately handover all Council property in their possession to Treasurer to the Local Government, TLG, the Warri South Local Government Chairman, stated: “All related revenue matters are to be directed to the revenue unit of Warri South LGA, pending when the revenue sub- committees will be reconstituted”.
