Indigenes of Tisun Community in Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State, are grieving over the death of the Oshodin of Warri Kingdom, Chief Isaac Jemide, saying he was an illustrious ambassador of the community.
Chairman of Tisun Community Management Council, Prince David Odeli, who made the statement in Warri, Tuesday December 14, on behalf of indigenes of the community, said the late Chief Isaac Jemide, wasn't just a distinguished personality from Tisun Community, but an impeccable Nationalist, whose contribution to the growth of Itsekiri Nation in particular and the country at large, would remain indelible for many decades to come.

Whilst taking solace in the fact that Late Chief Jemide lived a fulfilled life, people of Tisun averred that the passage of the legal icon, foremost Itsekiri leader and founding member of Rotary Club of Warri, would re - energize them in the struggle to bring Tisun Community up - to - speed with the kind of development associated with modern coastal communities across the globe.
