Warri South PDP leader, Chief (Dr.) Joseph Sisanmi Otumara and beneficiaries of the Hon. Matthew Poko Opuoru Empowerment Programme, have openly declared their support for Hon. Matthew Poko Opuoru’s return bid to Delta State House of Assembly, saying, “Come 2023, you are going back to the House of Assembly”.
Fresh Angle International can authoritatively report that Chief Otumara, beneficiaries of Opuoru’s monthly empowerment programme and other PDP stalwarts, made the declaration Monday December 20, at the Governor’s Office Annex, Warri in Delta State, during the revalidation of beneficiaries of the empowerment programme.
Chief Otumara, who capped the plaudits that have so far followed Hon. Opuoru’s monthly financial reach-out to at-least 270 people, including people with disabilities and the Arewa community in Warri, averred: “I am so excited coming to this place today, because I can see the happiness and love among the beneficiaries. In the history of this local government (Warri South) I can say that I have never attended any empowerment programme that is running on monthly basis for this long period of time, taking care of 270 persons. Opuoru, 2023 is a sure return for you, because the voice of the people, is the voice of God”.

Opuoru has not disappointed us, let us continue to pray to God, to continually grant him good health”.
Delta South PDP Chairman, Chief (Dr.) Julius Takeme, stated: “I am happy to be part of this ceremony. He has revalidated the empowerment programme, meaning it will continue into next year and beyond, we believe the empowerment from the, ‘empowerment guru’ will grow. I appreciate Hon. Opuoru” and leader of Warri Urhobos in PDP, Chief Israel Abido, opined: “It is not easy to get the money, Hon. Opuoru struggles to get the empowerment money”.
Warri South PDP Chairman, Mr. Johnson Agbeyegbe, who was represented by the Deputy Chairman of the party in the local government, Hon. Onojeghwo Okeoghene Marvis, urged beneficiaries to sustain their support for Peoples Democratic Party, “which is the only party in the state”.
