Delta State Commissioner, Bureau For Special Duties, Hon. Johnbull Atse Edema, on Thursday December 23, presented 400 bags of rice, 10 cows, 30 rams and 300 chickens to over 50 widows, 100 aged persons and 100 disadvantaged people across the various wards and communities in Warri South - West Local Government Area of Delta State.
Recall that Hon. Edema, a former Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party in Warri South - West Local Government Area, had on December 23, 2020 gave out bags of rice, turkey and other livestock to over 2,000 widows and people living with disabilities in various wards and communities in Warri South - West Local Government Area, with a promise to sustain the gesture as a result of his penchant for making people happy.

The distribution of the bags of rice and livestock, which took place in Warri,, was to enable the beneficiaries celebrate the Christmas and new year festivities despite the difficult economic situation occasioned by the COVID - 19 pandemic.
Hon. Edema, used the opportunity to call on Deltans to sustain their support for the Governor Ifeanyi Okowa administration and strictly obey the COVID - 19 protocol whilst celebrating the Christmas and New year festivities, so as to curtail the spread of the different variants of COVID - 19.
