2023: Contest for Warri South Constituency II Seat, NVA urges Eburu

The Delta State Chapter of Concerned Citizens for the Actualization of a Better Society, also known as Nigeria Voters’ Assembly, NVA, has called on its National Coordinator, Comr. Emuaghogho Olasunkanmi Eburu, to contest for Warri South Constituency II Seat in the Delta State House of Assembly come 2023. 

 

The Delta State Chairman of NVA, Mr. Jude Nwaokolo, reportedly made the call after an emergency meeting of the state executive of the group.

 

He said their appeal was in line with the aims and objectives of NVA, saying Comr. Emuaghogho Olasunkanmi Eburu, “has the capacity to represent the people of Warri South Constituency II in the Delta State House of Assembly”.

“The few months he manned the Office of the Chairman of Okere-Urhobo Development Movement, the community enjoyed tremendous infrastructural development. Such vision is needed to bring good governance to the people of Warri South Constituency II”, Nwaokolo opined.

 

He called on Deltans to encourage young and vibrant aspirants for elective positions come 2023, “to ensure a better society for all”, adding: “It's high time the old politicians with archaic vision make way for more vibrant youths, with clear vision to take Delta State to greater heights”.

 

Mr. Nwaokolo, also stated that the group will endorse candidates based on their individual track records and not on party line. “We want to give Deltans a better society, Deltans deserve a better society”, he added.
