Enforcement of waste sanitation basket permit, motor pack permit, loading and offloading permit, mobile sales/supply permit, liquor and all other mobile stickers’ emblem permits across Delta State for the year 2022, which was authorized by the Delta State Chapter of Association of Local Government of Nigeria, ALGON, will commence Tuesday February 1.
Fresh Angle International can report that this much was disclosed in Asaba, Delta State, Monday January 24, in a statement released by HASCKEF GEE Nigeria Limited, the Sole Revenue Consultant, approved by Delta State Chapter of Association of Local Government of Nigeria, ALGON, to collect the permits, otherwise referred to as Delta LGs’ Unified Permits.
The statement, emphatically noted that removal of batteries and plate numbers from vehicles, do not fall within the purview of the license granted to HASCKEF GEE Nigeria Limited, adding that its officials are uniformly kitted with verifiable means of identification.
The statement signed by the Chief Executive Officer of HASCKEF GEE Nigeria Limited, Mr. Kenneth George and Coordinator of Enforcement, Hon. Peter Eyen, again warned vehicle owners against dealing with quacks, by ensuring that they obtain the Delta LG Unified Permits in the 25 Local Government Council Secretariats.
Whilst warning owners of commercial vehicles and companies operating in Delta State not to obtain permits from other states, saying doing so will lead to payment of double levies, HASCKEF GEE Nigeria Limited, urged persons or firms selling similar permits from other states, to stay clear of Delta State, saying security agencies have been placed on red alert to deal with impostors.
Recall that Faith based organizations such as churches and mosques, were exempted from the Delta LG Unified Permits for 2022 and the Delta State Chapter ALGON, had given HASCKEF GEE Nigeria Limited, the sole authority to print, sell and manage the permits, in-line with the 1999 Constitution as amended by the Levies and Taxes Act.
