Following the recent fire disaster in Ohoroh Community along Ughelli/Port-Harcourt Expressway, an aspirant to the Ughelli / Udu House Representatives Seat under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the forthcoming 2023 polls, Olorogun (Hon.) Eunice Daji Okoh, has called for the building of tankers’ parks in the area.
The Okwagbe-born political icon, made the call in an interaction with newsmen, during her solidarity visit to the fire ravaged community on Tuesday February 1.
She, explained that the visit was purposely to commiserate with victims of the fire disaster.
While calling for the immediate evacuation of tankers from the area, she reasoned that her suggested tankers’ parks, would also serve as a source of revenue to government and also provide employment to people of the area.
The former Vice Chairman of Ughelli South Local Government Area and renowned philanthropist, appealed to the three tiers of government, corporate organizations and public spirited Nigerians, to come to the aid of victims of the fire disaster.
The Executive Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Area, Hon. Godwin Adode, the Councilor Ward 9 Uwherun, Hon. Bonny Samuel, the Otota R' Ode of Uwherun Kingdom, High Chief Edward Eyamu, the President-General of Uwherun Kingdom, Chief Igbedi MacPherson, the Chairman of Ohoror Community, Mr. Igometi Augustine and others, who spoke to journalists were full of praises for Olorogun (Hon.) The community leaders, noted that it was the first time a political aspirant paid such a visit.

Eunice Daji Okoh, is the right candidate for the Ughelli/ Udu House of Representatives seat, owing to her experience, closeness to the people and philanthropic gesture.
