Karetimi hails PDP delegates over successful party primaries in Bomadi

The Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Area, Hon. Oluwole Karetimi has commended the Delta State leadership of PDP for providing a level playing ground for aspirants to test their popularity at the just concluded party primaries, just as he lauded the delegates for displaying a high sense of decorum.

He made the commendation at Asaba, Delta State Capital while reacting to the outcome of the party primaries that saw the emergence of Pius Labo as the PDP flag bearer for Bomadi Constituency at the Delta State House of Assembly, saying “his victory is a clear indication of popular choice”.

 Addressing PDP stalwarts and other supporters of the party on their steadfastness during the primary, Karetimi maintained that, “Bomadi Local Government Area being one of the oldest in the defunct Western Ijaw Division, the people have remained one in their collective political destiny. We are also known for our resolve to queue behind credible candidate as a family for quality representation. Therefore I want to enjoin delegates to vote wisely in the Saturday December 6, 2014 National Assembly primaries to choose candidates with the qualities to represent them”.

He also used the medium to commend the member representing Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Hon. Nicholas Mutu for his effective and quality representation of the constituency.

The Bomadi Council Boss posited, “In any election there are winners and losers. It is natural for losers to feel aggrieved. But as people who have remained united they should learn to accept defeat in any contest because, at the end of the day one person will emerge winner and everyone will come together as one family to collectively work for the party’s victory come 2015 general elections”.
