Very sketchy piece of information reaching Fresh Angle International, says Police at about 3pm today, Sunday February 6, raided Agbarho in Ughelli North Local Government Area in Delta State, apprehending several people at the popular Five Junction, Agbarho, before moving to other parts of the town and left with two lifeless bodies, suspected to be victims of rival cult war.
A Source, who spoke to This Newspaper on condition of anonymity via mobile phone at 4:45 pm today, said most people in the town, were scared to come out, to avoid being arrested by the Police team or innocently fail victim from the cross fire of the rival cult clash, alleged to have consumed about 10 persons within the last one week.
The Source, who was yet to identify the cult gangs involved in the clashes as at the time of this report, claimed the situation escalated this afternoon, when some of the cultists came out in the open, brandishing dangerous weapons, including battle axes and guns, with a view to attacking members of rival gangs.
According to him, arrival of the police team, doused the escalating tension.
