The Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, has announced the introduction of "Self-Service Stations" in all its Tax Offices Nationwide, to support taxpayers in utilizing the TaxPro Max solution, Fresh Angle International, can report.
The Self-Service Stations, which is a part of the FIRS’ efforts to enhance voluntary tax compliance, will, among other things, provide taxpayers the opportunity to carry out certain services online, while in the Tax Office.
The announcement by the FIRS, released few minutes ago on its twitter handle, listed the online services taxpayers can carry, to include: “Filing tax returns, Paying taxes, Applying for and validate TCCS and Generating receipts and credit notes”.
“To make it more convenient for the taxpayers, the Self-Service Stations, have designated officers readily available to assist taxpayers with any technical difficulty or concerns that may arise. The Service enjoins taxpayers to take advantage of the Self-Service Stations in fulfilling their tax obligations”, the statement signed by FIRS management, noted.
