The Igba of Warri Kingdom and Itsekiri Rights’ activist, Chief (Mrs.) Rita Lori-Ogbebor has thrown her weight behind the 2015 House of Representatives ambition of Special Project Director, Osubi Airstrip expansion, Barr. Ada Val Arenyeka, saying the era of supporting aspirants “we are not sure of are over”.
The renowned Warri Chief stated this yesterday when she played host to Barr. Ada Val Arenyeka and his supporters who were on a campaign visit to her Warri country-home.
According to the journalist cum hotelier, roads constructed by NDDC at Ajigba and other communities while Barr. Arenyeka was the Commissioner representing Delta State in the board of NDDC are “very solid and remains the best” compared to others executed by “the government”.
She enjoined Barr. Arenyeka to attract localized industries to Iwere nation to create employment opportunities as well as empowerment of the people”.
Speaking earlier, the Warri Federal Constituency House of Representatives hopeful, Barr. Val Arenyeka promised to attract more projects to his constituency if given the mandate.
While mentioning Omadino, Okerenkoko and Escravos roads as well as electrification projects executed at Ajigba, Jetty at Ode-Itsekiri as some of the projects he attracted to Warri South Local Government Area as NDDC Commissioner, Barr. Arenyeka appealed to Chief Rita Lori-Ogbebor and Warri women to support his 2015 aspiration.
