Friends and other football lovers on Wednesday February 16, held a novelty football match to honour a former football enthusiast and player, late Comrade Alfred Chiejina Enebeli at the NPA football Field, Warri in Delta State.
Late Comrade Enebeli, was a Personal Assistant to the Port Manager Operations, Nigeria Ports Authority, Delta Ports, Warri, before passing unto glory recently after a brief illness, while still in active service.
Our Senior Correspondent reports that the novelty football match ended in a goalless draw.
The Chairman, Maritime Workers Union, NPA Warri Port Branch, Comrade Peter flagged off the game, which was full of entertainment and display of skills with much humour.
Comrade Tom Kadiri and other group of friends, while speaking exclusively to Fresh Angle International, described their departed friend "Dodo Mayana" as a great man, who will be missed by all as a super comrade.
Other Activities for the funeral service of Late Comrade Enebeli continue Friday February 18, with service of songs, while on Saturday February 19, he will be laid to rest at his home Town in Aboh, headquarters of Ndokwa East Local Government Area in Delta State.
An Outing Church service will be held Sunday February 20 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Aboh.
