Feelers reaching Fresh Angle International indicate that the PDP Guber primaries billed for the Event Centre at Asaba, the Delta State Capital today is yet to commence as at 1:30 pm , as governorship aspirants from Delta North Senatorial District such as Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, Hon. Patrick Ochei, Hon. Ndudi Elumelu and Dr. Mrs. Ngozi Olejeme are said to have rejected the sudden endorsement of Chief David Edevbie by Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan and support groups of Sir Tony Obuh.
It is believed that the Delta North aspirants are in negotiation to opt for a concensus candidate from their districts before the primaries will take off, since they are insisting that it will be the turn of Delta North to produce the Next Governor of Delta State from May 2015 after Chief James Ibori and Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta Central and South respectively have had two tenures each.
Meanwhile, accreditation of delegates commenced exactly 2:30pm at the venue with no contestant on ground and speculations are rife that no consensus was reached, especially by the Delta North Guber aspirants on who to back.
