A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the Ughelli/ Udu Federal House of Representatives aspirant Olorogun Eunice Daji Okoh has given Governor Ifeanyi Okowa a pat on the back over his support for the girl child.
She made the commendation in a media chat with our correspondent when she played host to statutory delegates, wards executive members and elders of the party in a break fast meeting at Otu - Jeremi Ughelli South Local Government Area on Thursday 24th, 2022 .
Okoh noted that no governor in Nigeria has promoted the girl child than Governor Okowa.
She also noted that the governor has advocated for more female in political positions in the state.
Okoh further noted that the wife of President Muhammadu Buhari advocated for more women at the National Assembly recently as widely published in the media.
She then called on the womenfolk to take advantage of the support of Governor Okowa and the wife of President Muhammadu Buhari to participate fully in elective positions.
Okoh reasoned that women were good managers and that they can carry out ten taxes at a time .
She however appealed to the menfolk to support the womenfolk in show casing their potentials in politics in 2023.
Okoh had earlier explained that her concern for the betterment of the people and the constituency, informed her decision to contest for the exalted position in 2023.
She proudly stated that she has what it takes to give the people and constituency a quality representation at the Green Chambers of the National Assembly in 2023.
Okoh also noted that the support of PDP members in her hosting of the three local government areas in the seperate breakfast tea meetings was massive.
She then appealed to them to display such support for her in the forthcoming parties.
Okoh appealed further that if given the mandate to represent the party in the primaries, the people of the constituency should vote for her the PDP in 2023 to enable them have quality representation at the National Assembly
