The Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, says cranes for Lekki Deep Seaport, would arrive in June, while commercial activities would commence in September this year.
The Minister, dropped the hint in a tweet few minutes ago, after inspecting the progress of work today at the project site.
Rt. Hon. Amaechi, stated that there was huge improvement on the Lekki Deep Seaport, compared to the last time his team visited the project site.
"Inspecting the Lekki Deep Seaport today, there’s huge improvement compared to the last time we visited. The management has assured that the Cranes would arrive in June, while commercial activities would commence in September. The Port is estimated to contribute about $360b to Nigeria’s GDP", he noted.
