The Kogi State House of Assembly on Tuesday March 15, confirmed the nomination of three appointees of Governor Yahaya Bello.
Our Kogi State Correspondent, reports that the appointees are; Abdullahi Ndalayi Suleiman, Chairman, State Universal Basic Education Board, (SUBEB), Usman Umoru, Permanent Member, (SUBEB) and Matthew Abuka, Director General, Kogi State Debt Management Office (DMO).
The confirmation of the appointees was sequel to a letter sent to the House by Governor Bello extending their appointment for another tenure.
Speaking to journalists shortly after he was confirmed by the hallow chamber, the Chairman, State Universal Basic Education Board, (SUBEB), Abdullahi Ndalayi Suleiman, appealed to primary schools teachers to be patient with the present administration adding that, there is better days is ahead in the area of their welfare.
Suleiman promised to consolidate on his first achievements by sustaining discipline, accountability and transparency.
Meanwhile, a bill for a law to Establish Kogi Signage and Advertisement Agency has passed through first reading in the Kogi State House of Assembly.
The bill when passed into law will provide a legislative framework for regulation of outdoor advertisement in the State.
