I abducted two teenage girls to help accident victim, suspect tells police


A middle aged man, Chijioke Okonkwo who works in an uncompleted building along Delta Broadcasting Service, DBS Road, Asaba in Delta State has been arrested by the Police for allegedly abducting two teenage girls: Ifunanya Onyia and Miracle Boniface, Fresh Angle International has learnt.

The suspect was picked by operatives from Storm Office, Asaba when they got wind that the two young girls both aged 13 of Army Barracks, Onitsha in neighbouring Anambra State were seen along Delta Broadcasting Service Road, Asaba, Delta State in a manner suggesting that they were in distress.

Fresh Angle International learnt that it was based on the information that the operatives proceeded to the area and on inquiry, discovered that the victims were lured from Onitsha where they sell sachet water to Asaba by the suspect, Chijioke Okonkwo.

According to the two girls, the said Okonkwo told them he was taking them to his provision store at Relief Market, Onitsha to become his sales girls, only for him to bring them to Asaba.

In his account to the Police, Mr. Chijioke Okonkwo claimed he was taking the victims to Okija, Anambra State to help a woman who was involved in an accident and receiving treatment at Okija but has no one to stay with her.
