God chose me to sing, liberate our generation, says 13-year old Virginia

A talented 13-year old budding artiste, Virginia Udurume of Swanky Music, says God chose her to sing and liberate people of her generation, turn around their fortunes and break barriers of negativity in different homes.

 

Our Senior Correspondent reports that Virginia Udurume, made the assertion Sunday March 20, at Eagle Square, Urhobo Quarters in Otu-Jeremi, Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State, during the launching and official public presentation of her musical album, titled, “Sweet Mummy”.

Virginia, known musically as Swanky, revealed that there eight songs in the album, titled, “Sweet Mummy”, assuring that she will produce more songs in the nearest future, just as she appealed for support to advance her musical career.

 

Chairman of the event, Engr. Augustine Uwedjojevwe, advised other young people to take clue from Virginia, by creating self-employment.

 

Engr. Uwedjojevwe, gave Swanky scholarship from secondary school to university level, with a promise to support other youths from Otu- Ghievwen Community, who are ready to invest into meaningful ventures.

President-General of Otu-  Ghievwen Community, Hon. Michael Oghenegueke, Public Relations Officer of the Community, Oge Governor, Chief Enyote Gbogbo,  Mrs. Agnes Utuama,  Esther Udurume and ‘Original Warri Man’, expressed gratitude to God for giving Otu-  Ghievwen Community a distinguished 13-year old teenager, waxing songs to the amazement of many.

 

They promised to give her the necessary support, to enable her become a globally recognized music star, “for promoting the community, Ughelli South, Delta State and Nigeria at large”.

 

 

 

 

Parents of Virginia, Evangelist and Mrs. Sunday Udurume, appreciated guests that graced the album launch and donors for their support, appealing for sustained funding.

 

According to them, the promising teenage star, has more songs in the offing, saying with additional support, she will go places.
