Information from a very credible source from Warri Council of Chiefs has hinted your soar away tabloid, Fresh Angle International that Delta State PDP gubernatorial candidate, Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, Hon. Daniel Reyenieju of the House of Representatives and Delta State Commissioner for Oil and Gas, Hon. Omamofe Joseph Pirah today held a secret meeting with the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse II at his palace.
According to the source that prefers anonymity, immediately after they left the Olu’s Palace, Dr. Okowa in-company of Hon. Daniel Reyenieju and Hon. Pirah also visited the Warri private residence of former Warri South-West Chairman, Hon. David Tonwe.
It was also alleged that High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, otherwise known as Tompolo also paid a secret visit to the Olu of Warri today after an alleged brief stop-over at the home of Hon. David Tonwe.
It was not clear as at press time the purpose of the visits, but it may not be unconnected with the gubernatorial ambition of Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, especially after Chief Great Ogboru of the LabourParty and Olorugun O’tega Emerhor of the APC paid open consultative visits to the Olu.
Indications also emerged from the parley with the Warri monarch that Hon. Omamofe Pirah may also be scheming to be appointed as Secretary to the State Government, SSG should Dr. Okowa wins the governorship election.
Speculations have been rife that Dr. Joseph Otumara who is Secretary of PDP Campaign Council for Okowa’s governorship bid may have been penciled down for the SSG’s job should Okowa wins.
