The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate in next year's general elections, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, has called on Nigerians to be more dedicated to the cause of building a better and prosperous nation.
Senator Okowa, who currently represents Delta North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, said it was imperative for every citizen to continue to make positive input in the collective effort to move the nation forward.
He noted that the resolve of the President Goodluck Jonathan--led administration to improve the well being of Nigerians through its transformation agenda should be supported by all.
Senator Okowa, who spoke in his New Year message issued by his campaign office in Asaba, also urged Deltans to continue to remain united and peaceful, even as he assured that the PDP--led administrations both at the State and Federal levels would continue to give purposeful leadership.
The PDP governorship candidate expressed confidence that the 2015 general elections will be peaceful, even as he urged Deltans to remain steadfast in their support for the party.
While wishing Deltans a happy and prosperous 2015, Senator Okowa said the PDP will continue to work to develop the State and enhance the well being of the citizens, even as he called for continued support for Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan--led administration in the State.
