A political pressure group poised to ensure the victory of General Muhammadu Buhari (Rtd.) in the February 14, 2015 Presidential poll, Buhari Movement For Change, BMC was today inaugurated in Warri, Delta State with a mandate to “intensify door-to-door campaign for the desired change from tribal governance to National government”.
In a communiqué signed by the South South Co-ordinator and Publicity Secretary of BMC, Prince David Iwere and Oghenemarho Tega respectively, members of Buhari Movement For Change noted that they decided to back the presidential ambition of the APC Presidential candidate, General Buhari because “the sacrifice for change has become imperative in the face of failed power sector reform, where Nigerians now pay more for almost zero electricity supply despite the purported privatization of the sector and the comatose state of the Nation’s economy coupled with the constant devaluation of the naira”.
Spokesman of BMC, Dr. Emiko Ofuyaekpone who read the communiqué on behalf of other members, vowed that they will mobilize resources, men, women and youths from all ethnic Nationalities to ensure that General Buhari who they described as “Mr. Anti-Corruption” wins convincingly in the February 14, 2015 Presidential election.

According to BMC, General Buhari will fix the present security challenges that the Jonathan administration “lacks the capacity to resolve”.
The South South Co-ordinator of the group, Prince David Iwere explained that the mission of BMC is not to hijack the APC structure, just as he enjoined members of the APC to close ranks.
He disclosed that poster and Billboards of the APC Presidential candidate and his running mate, Professor Yemi Osinbajor will be spread across the South South geopolitical zone in few days.
