National President of Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor says 80% of the Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs in the two camps at Abuja are Christians, saying the media needs to do more in the reportage of Boko Haram's mayhem.

Pastor Oritsejafor stated this today in Warri at his Word of Life Bible Church while addressing his congregation on the need to continually make material donations to people affected by the unending Boko Haram violence.

While noting that some of the internally displaced persons, comprising of mostly women and children have moved to neighbouring Cameroun, the CAN President who just returned on a missionary trip abroad where he preached at Dr. Morris Cerulo Conference, wondered why despite "Christians owning 90% of the media in Nigeria, they do not report the true situation of the IDPs''.

The CAN President has been coordinating the donation and distribution of relief materials to the internally displaced persons in both Abuja and parts of the North East where the IDPs are camped.
