Delta Guber 2023: ‘I learned street credibility for Warri’, Oborevwori declares as Tidi labels him Unifier

Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly and Delta State 2023 Governorship hopeful, under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Rt. (Hon.) Sheriff Oborevwori, says he learnt “street credibility” in Warri, not Osubi, describing himself as an, “excessive local content man”.

 

Fresh Angle International, can report that Rt. (Hon.) Oborevwori made the declaration today, Tuesday April 12, while addressing Chieftains of the PDP, delegates and other party faithful in Warri, Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State, during a consultative visit.

 

He stated inter-alia: “I am a proper Warri Boy, this is my place too. I want to inform you of my intention to be the governor of Delta State come 2023. Nah we start Pidgin English for Warri. I will run an open and transparent government, that will meet the aspirations of our people. I will do more, listen more. Anybody that has stayed in Warri for over a decade, will say Sheriff will do well. I have worked with Okowa, I understand him. Dem Otumara don follow us go all the 18 local governments wey we don go, because dem believe me. I dey succeed, because I be Warri boy. I learned street credibility for Warri, no bi for Osubi. I be excessive local content man”.

Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area and aspirant to the Warri South Constituency II seat in the State House of Assembly, Dr. Michael Tidi, in an exclusive interview with This Newspaper, shortly after Rt. (Hon.) Oborevwori’s consultative visit, professed: “We are here to support a unifier, we believe in continuity. As someone who has worked with the governor (Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa) we believe he will consolidate on the governor's achievements. We believe in him!”

The member representing Warri South Constituency I in Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Augustine Uroye, in a terse remark, commended PDP faithful in Warri South Local Government for coming out enmasse to receive Rt. (Hon.) Sheriff Oborevwori and for coordinating themselves in a responsible manner.
