Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael Tidi, has cautioned youths and other residents of Warri South against avoidable bloodshed, particularly killing for ritual purpose and cult clashes, saying Easter should remind us of how Jesus Christ shed his precious blood for our sin, to give us better lives.
Dr. Tidi, sounded the caution in a message to felicitate with people of Warri South Local Government Area on the occasion of the celebration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
According to the Warri South Local Government Boss, the resurrection of Jesus Christ after his crucifixion, underscores the need for everyone to drop habits that are ungodly and embrace virtues that promote peaceful coexistence as well as visible socio - economic and infrastructural development.
While urging Christian faithful to celebrate the Easter within the limit of their resources, Dr. Tidi, assured people of Warri South Local Government Area that his administration, will continue to work towards changing the negative narrative about Warri, with a view to attract more local and external investments to the urban and rural/ riverine areas of Warri South.
