Robbers attack three victims in Delta

A group of unidentified armed robbers weekend robbed and assaulted three residents at gun point at Okubor Street, opposite Hotel De Mark, Effurun in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, carting away N78,000.00, a motorbike, cell phones, cash and other valuables. Fresh Angle International can exclusively report. 

One of the victims, Mr. Ojonla Woye, whose private Colink 150 motorcycle was stolen, said “I discovered that the motorcycle I bought N78, 000 in 2008 which I parked outside my house on Saturday night (March 21) was stolen by robbers when I woke up the next day”.

The second victim, Master David Onos, a 19-year old boy said, “I was returning from my friends’ place, heading to my house at about 9:00pm on Friday night, when I saw a group of armed robbers jumped down from a tricycle and a car, pointing gun at my chest and commanded me to bring my I-tech phone worth N13, 000, which I purchased a week ago”.

The victim added that he was severely assaulted by the armed robbers, asking him to lie on the ground and remained there until the operation lasted. “The robbers seized my phone and fled away”. Master Onos stated.

Another victim, Mama Samadi, a hair stylist, explained how she was invaded by the armed robbers. She noted, “I was attacked by the robbers in my Hair Dressing Salon/Shop that same Friday night, when I was attending to customers”, stressing that “the robbers made away with phones, cash and other valuables belonging to me and my customers”.

Fresh Angle International gathered that the armed robbers after successful operations without resistance drove off with their tricycle and car.
