Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael Tidi,has felicitated with staffers of Warri South Local Government Council and other workers leaving in the local government area, saying the economic challenges being experienced across the country and other parts of the world, requires every worker to increase resourcefulness, instead of despair.
Dr. Tidi, made the call Sunday May 1, in a statement released in Warri, to commemorate with workers on the occasion of this year's International Labour Day.
Whilst acknowledging that this wasn't the best of times for Nigerian workers, particularly those at the local government level, the Warri South Local Government Chief Executive, assured that he will continue to prioritize the welfare of workers in Warri South Council.
He challenged staffers of Warri South Local Government Council and members of the ruling political class within the council, to step up their innovative ideas and sustain the partnership with his administration, in the resolve to continually domestic Governor Ifeanyi Okowa's democracy dividends across all communities in Warri South Local Government Area.
