Presidential Spokesman, Garba Shehu, says the terrorists that attacked the advance team of President Muhammadu Buhari, near Dutsinma, Katsina State, opened fire on the convoy from ambush positions.
Fresh Angle International can report that Garba Shehu, who gave the explanation few minutes ago via twitter, noted that the attackers, “were repelled by the military, police and DSS personnel accompanying the convoy”.
He added: “The attackers opened fire on the convoy from ambush positions, but were repelled by the military, police and DSS personnel accompanying the convoy.
“Two persons in the convoy are receiving treatment for the minor injuries they suffered. All the other personnel, staff and vehicles made it safely to Daura”.
