The executive council, legislative arm and staffers of Warri South Local Government Council in Delta, say they are emulating the high standards set by Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa in administration.
This much, was contained in a goodwill message to felicitate with Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, on the occasion of his 63rd birthday, Friday July 8.
Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael Tidi, who signed the message on behalf of the Council, stated that they will remain dedicated to the democratic ideals of Dr. Okowa, wishing him, " many more victorious years ahead, particularly as we inch close to the 2023 general elections."
The message added: "Your Excellency, the story of your enviable political rise, beginning from your days as Secretary to Local Government, Local Government Chairman, Commissioner, Secretary to Delta State Government, Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, incumbent (2nd term) Governor of Delta State, cum Vice Presidential Candidate of PDP in the forthcoming 2023 general elections, bears eloquent testimony of God's grace upon your life, activated by strategic political thinking and goal - driven leadership."
