The Management of Matrix Energy, says the company is deeply pained by the losses that arose as a result of the explosion that occurred at its LPG Terminal in Warri, Delta State, Friday night, July 8.
In a statement published on the company’s twitter handle this evening, Monday July 11, the Management of Matrix Energy, disclosed that they have reached out to the affected families, “in conjunction with the community to commiserate with them”.
The statement obtained by Fresh Angle International, noted: “We are deeply pained by these losses and have reached out to the affected families in conjunction with the community to commiserate with them. Your prayers for the repose of the souls of the departed and comfort to the families are solicited and will be greatly appreciated at this point.
“We wish to thank everyone remotely and directly linked to our company for their unwavering support and feedback in helping us navigate this unfortunate incident.
“We regrettably wish to update everyone that some casualties have been recorded as a result of this incident. This information was not available at the time our first communication went out.
“As earlier stated, the post-incident review is ongoing and we crave the understanding of all concerned to allow the post-incident review to take its course. Thank you!”
