The 2022 AWARES Training for Media Practitioners, commenced on a good note, Monday July 25, at the School of Media and Communications in Pan- Atlantic University, Lagos State.

 

The training, sponsored by Chevron Nigeria Limited, was designed to help media practitioners advance their writing and reporting skills. 

 

Our Kogi State Correspondent, who is participating in the training, reports that AWARES 2022, started with registration of participants, followed by a welcome address by the Dean of School of Media and Communications in Pan- Atlantic University and the introduction to the program by Mr. Isaac Ezechukwu.

 

High Point of the opening ceremony, was a welcome address by the Manager Communication, Chevron Nigeria Limited, Victor Anyaegbudike, who reiterated that the course was aimed at providing persons, who work in the field of media or Public Relations, the opportunity of enhancing their writing skills.

 

He stated that important components of the training, involves acquiring skills to enable the media practitioners make adequate use of the web and improve productivity through greater personal effectiveness.
