The Commissioner in-Charge of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, Mr. Matthew Poko Opuoru yesterday enjoined Okere-Urhobo community women in Warri to vote enmasse for Delta State PDP Governorship candidate, Sen. (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa and the member representing Warri South Constituency II in Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Dennis Omovie in this Saturday’s poll.
He made the appeal at a parley held at the Okere-Uhrobo Community Town Hall, Warri, Delta State.
The Commissioner added, “I came to thank you for voting PDP in the Presidential and National Assembly election. I also encourage you to vote for our PDP candidates in this Saturday’s gubernatorial and State House of Assembly polls”.
Mr. Opuoru appealed to the women to put tribal sentiment aside and vote for change, stressing that the PDP symbol of excellence remains the best alternative.
