Just In: Anxiety grips PDP as APC agents track election materials in Warri

Feelers reaching Fresh Angle International indicate that there is heightening anxiety among PDP leaders in Warri, Delta State following close monitoring of election materials by agents of the All Progressives Congress, APC at INEC office in Warri.       

An impeccable source told Fresh Angle International that agents of the APC slept at the INEC office in Warri overnight and are said to be watching the election materials with Eagle eye to avoid diversion of sensitive materials for the gubernatorial and House of Assembly polls billed for tomorrow Saturday April 11.

The fear among PDP leaders in Warri, particularly as it affects the House of Assembly poll is worsened by the fact that the incumbent member representing Warri South Constituency 1 in the State House of Assembly is seeking a return as the party flag-bearer while their seeming preferred candidate for the position, Hon. Godwin Abigor is running under the SDP platform.

The solid campaign and seeming acceptance of the APC candidate for Warri South Constituency 1, Barr. Robinson Ariyo has further heightened the stake for an epic threesome battle.    

For the Warri South Constituency 2 Seat, it is a two horse race between homegrown Warri boy, Chief Vincent Okudolor and the not-so-popular member representing the constituency, Hon. Dennis Omovie.

Investigations reveal that but for possible rigging, all three gubernatorial candidates in the State: Senator Arthur Okowa of PDP, Chief Great Ogboru of Labour Party and Olorogun O'Tega Emerhor of the APC will have a tight confrontation in Warri because opinions among residents of the Oil City are divided among sentimental and party lines.
