As reports filtered in unsurprisingly that Delta State PDP Governorship candidate, Senator Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa was declared winner of the State gubernatorial poll held Saturday April 11, Fresh Angle International can report that one of the major hurdles the one-time Secretary to Delta State Government, Senator Okowa will face is who becomes scribe to the State government.
Investigations by your soar-away International tabloid reveal that major sponsor of Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa during the PDP gubernatorial primary, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo AKA Tompolo and his Itsekiri allies such as Hon. David Tonwe and Hon. Daniel Reyenieju of the House of Representatives are lobbying for current Delta State Commissioner for Oil and Gas, Mr. Omamofe Joseph Pirah to be appointed Secretary to State Government by the Governor-Elect, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, the out-going Governor of the State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan as well as some Chieftains of the PDP are believed to be pushing for the Director General of PDP Campaign Council in Delta State, Dr. Joseph Sisanmi Otumara, who is also current Delta State Commissioner for Health.
While the key political gladiators within the PDP are consolidating on their scheming, speculations are also rife that the Delta State Governor-Elect, Dr. Okowa and other strong political figures in the PDP are planning to defect to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
