HOSTCOM: Your purported inauguration done without recourse to court cases, Itsekiri Chapter carpets Enujeke led Delta Exco

Host Communities of Nigeria, Producing Oil and Gas, Itsekiri Chapter, has carpeted the purported inauguration of Mr. Sunday Enujeke's led Delta State, “factional executive of Host Communities of Nigeria, Producing Oil and Gas”, held Wednesday September 28 at Kwale in Delta State, saying: “It was done without recourse to the various ethnic Nationality Chairmen and ongoing court cases”.

Fresh Angle International can report that the position of HOSTCOM Itsekiri Chapter, was contained in a communique released at the end of its general meeting held in Warri, Delta, Thursday September 29.

The communique, which was signed by the chairman and secretary of HOSTCOM Itsekiri Chapter, Messrs. Itse Omajugho and Fidelis Ete Orugboh, respectively, noted in parts: “The ltsekiri Chapter executive and members, cannot recall recommending any person or group of persons to the factional State executive led by Mr. Sunday Enujeke or the National executive, purportedly being led by High Chief Benjamin Style, for any form of official inaugurations.

“The Itsekiri Chapter is fully aware of the various court cases in the various courts of competent jurisdictions here in Warri and Effurun, challenging the different factional executives currently in Hostcom both at the State and National levels.

“The executive and members of the Itsekiri Chapter, therefore wish to disassociate ourselves from any form of inaugurations done within the state and/or the National. The general public should therefore take note.

“When it is appropriate to recommend names; the Itsekiri Chapter Chairman and Secretary after due consultations with the leaders, Elders and the general house, would duly append their respective signatures to officially recommend the nominated names of representatives of the Chapter to the State and National executive bodies, to occupy the various vacant positions zoned to the Chapter.

“This communique is not issued to prejudice or disenfranchise any person or group of persons of their rights, but its solely for the good and well-being of the Itsekiri Chapter.

“This communique is issued in good fate and sincerity of purpose”.
